The New Daughter (2009)

I don't know about you guys but i don't see how Kevin Costner staring in a horror flick is going to make a great horror movie. His character is just plain annoying. Don't get me wrong though, i like Costner but i think he should just stick to comedy/action movies. 

The New Daughter is directed by a Spanish screenwriter, Luis Berdejo. It's about a man who moved in to a new house with his two kids, a teenage daughter named Luisa and a young son named Sam. Of course Costner plays the dad. Luisa hated her father because she accuses him for not loving her mother enough to make her leave. When they moved to the new house, Luisa staring to developed a strange behaviour after exploring a large burial mound near their new home but her father only thinks that her daughter is being rebellious and i might say.. 'hitting puberty'

What really annoys me is that whenever something bad happens in the house or to his kids or the babysitter or their pets, the father just acts like he doesn't give a shit and be like 'oh that's strange' and that's it, he didn't even do nothing about it. if it were me and my daughter is acting weird, i'd bring my family out of that shithole. screw that creepy house! but NOOOOO.. Costner decided to stay in the house and figure out what's going on. failed dad. so anyways, Costner tries every ways to save his daughter which is in the end is an epic fail. everyone dies. 

ah, of course! A horror movie won't be complete without a girl running around half naked or just.. standing there naked. lol ok
